ROLE OVERVIEW MESH Executive Solutions has been retained to recruit an Operations Project Manager on behalf of a pioneering medical device company developing and manufacturing advanced endovascular solutions. We are seeking an impactful Operations Project Manager to strengthen the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations across internal teams and subcontracting partners. This role carries two equally critical mandates: actively managing manufacturing subcontractors to ensure predictable, on-time execution, and spearheading operational excellence by translating complex manufacturing data into actionable insights and measurable gains. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role rather than a passive reporting function. You will analyze operational data, identify root causes, coordinate implementation with key cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure that measurable improvements are achieved and sustained over time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Subcontractor Management & Execution •     Coordinate subcontractor production plans, capacity, material readiness, milestones, and delivery commitments. •     Establish clear responsibilities and precise committed dates, and follow up consistently. •     Lead regular performance reviews and maintain shared action plans with each subcontractor. •     Monitor delivery reliability, quality performance, yield, lead times, capacity, and cost. •     Identify risks early, assess their impact, and drive recovery plans. •     Support accountability for agreed operational and contractual commitments, working with the relevant internal owners. 2. Operational Analysis and Improvement •     Consolidate operational data and translate it into practical knowledge and management recommendations. •     Build useful dashboards and KPIs covering manufacturing cost, production time, cycle time, throughput, capacity utilization, delivery commitments, yield, scrap, and rework. •     Establish reliable baselines, consistent metric definitions, and measurable improvement targets. •     Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes across internal manufacturing and subcontracted activities. •     Lead focused improvement projects with clear owners, milestones, and expected benefits. •     Measure actual results against baselines and verify that improvements are sustained. •     Present concise management updates highlighting risks, tradeoffs, priorities, and decisions required. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE •     Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related technical discipline. •     Industry Experience: Approximately 10 years of progressive, hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, operational project management, or supply chain within high-standard production environments. •     Subcontractor Governance: Proven, in-depth track record of managing manufacturing subcontractors and external production partners—spanning master scheduling, capacity allocation, performance monitoring, and rapid problem resolution. •     Substantial hands-on experience managing manufacturing subcontractors across planning, execution, performance monitoring, and problem resolution. •     Strong analytical abilities and sound operational judgment. •     Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage. •     Demonstrated experience delivering measurable operational improvements. •     Ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners without direct authority. •     Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. •     Language Fluency: Professional, full working proficiency in both Hebrew and English (written and verbal). •     Mobility: Willingness to travel regularly to domestic subcontractor manufacturing sites and facilities as required. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE •     Medical devices or another regulated manufacturing environment. •     Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma. •     ERP systems, manufacturing cost analysis, and capacity planning. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE •     Subcontractors deliver more reliably against committed dates, with fewer surprises. •     Risks are identified earlier, with recovery plans in place before they affect supply. •     Management has reliable, consistent visibility of operational performance through agreed KPIs. •     Improvement projects deliver measurable, sustained gains in yield, cycle time, productivity, and cost, verified against established baselines.
